After the classroom portion we will go to the Burnsville Pistol Range for the shooting qualification.
The class cost is $60 per person and includes the range fee.
- Instruction in the fundamentals of a pistol
- Mechanical knowledge of handguns
- Safe practices in shooting
- Loading, unloading & clearing firearm malfunctions
- Safe storage and firearm care
- Instruction in the legal aspects of pistol carry, and use
- Laws regarding self-defense
- Legal restrictions on the use of deadly force
- Psychological and physiological effects of a violent threat encounter
- Successfully completion of an actual shooting qualification
